How did you first get involved with The Child Center, Inc.?
A previous Board Member and our old next door neighbor, Tony Hoffman shared his involvement which intrigued me. Once he realized I was interested, he turned on his recruitment charm and I became a Board Member for The Child Center, Inc.
What do you find most rewarding about your involvement with The Child Center, Inc.?
An organization is successful when you have a successful team in place, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch the growth of the talented staff and help recruit strong board members. As a result, we have nearly completed a Capital Campaign project to build out and grow our offices, our special events have been a success over the past three years, and we currently have the highest numbers of board members ever. None of that would have been possible just five years ago. It brings us such a wonderful sense of accomplishment to be a part of these successes, and to be a cheerleader for those successes, those are feelings we will forever cherish.
