One with Courage Gala to Raise Funds for Children Victimized by Abuse

The Child Center, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides services to children victimized by abuse and neglect in Northeast Missouri will host its annual gala, Saturday, April 28, 2018, to raise much-needed funds to continue fighting child abuse.

The annual black-tie Gala themed “Game on! It’s time to end child abuse”, will be held at The Christy Banquet Center in O’Fallon and will include drinks and appetizers, a three-course dinner, an impressive live & silent auction, and top-notch entertainment.

“We are not just a charity, we are an essential service to our community and are committed to providing our services to our community’s most vulnerable children”, Sissy Swift, Executive Director, “The One with Courage Gala is a fun and exciting event bringing our community together to raise vital funds for the Center.”

The Child Center, Inc. will also recognize their award winners for 2018 during the Gala. Honorary Chairpersons, Britt & Sheila Stender; Volunteer of the Year, Amy Hawkins; Supporter of the Year, Dan & Lisa Mudd; and Funder of the Year, Children’s Trust Fund.

Each awardee has gone above and beyond to help end child abuse.”
