Body Safety Program

The Body Safety program is created for Early Childhood, First, and Fourth grade students.  Through interactive discussion, short videos, and visual aids the students will gain increased knowledge and awareness about sexual abuse and related prevention skills. The programs range from twenty to sixty minutes long, depending on age level.

By participating in the program students will be introduced to the Body Safety Rule just like any other safety rule they may already know. Students will be able to learn the steps to take if their Body Safety Rule is broken, No-Get Away-Tell.  The students will be able to recognize the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touches and feel empowered to report to a trusted adult and continue reporting until they receive the help they need.
